Some of life’s sweetest memories are made in the kitchen. Long before Slugger Baking Company existed, I learned to bake beside my mom. As the youngest of eleven children, I grew up in a home where everything was made from scratch. My mom was an incredible baker and cook, and she taught me that the best recipes were never just about ingredients—they were about bringing people together. More than fifty years later, those afternoons in the kitchen remain some of my favorite memories—and they’re the inspiration behind everything we bake today.

Over the past twenty years of baking treats with my own children…brownies, cannoli, candy, and of course, cookies… our signature chocolate chip cookie came to life. The recipe evolved into the cookie we proudly share today—baked fresh, made with premium ingredients, and the belief that simple things, done well, never go out of style. Our recipe is thoughtfully curated to be allergen friendly so more families can gather, celebrate, and make memories together without sacrificing flavor or quality.
